Alumnus of NIFT,Delhi and graduate in science , Roshni found her passion in being an entrepreneur. Having founded an e commerce portal in 2010 , she has successfully managed several cross-functional roles. To be a catalyst for positive growth in society it is essential to start at the grassroot level and that’s what has brought Roshni to Societymaker. She believes in creating flexible work opportunities for women and is working towards it.
Amrita is a Director in a non-profit organization called Aajeevika Bureau. She is a seasoned development sector professional and a special competence in research. She has earned her degree in rural management from IRMA, Anand followed by a Masters in Public Policy and Development from CEU, Budapest and ISS, The Hague. She leads the research team, supervising its various technical support, teaching, knowledge management and networking functions.
Dr. Rajat Chabba has been working in the development sector for the past 7 years focusing on diverse developmental issues. An Acumen India Fellow for 2015, Rajat is an MBBS graduate from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad and holds Master’s in Rural Management from Institute of Rural Management Anand. Prior to working with Agrasar, Dr. Rajat was working with ITC – eChoupal and was the national lead for Swasthya Choupal, a women centric healthcare entrepreneurial model targeting rural India.
Sushmitha has been working in the development sector for the last ten years, interning with the UNDP, and working at the managerial levels in the Times Foundation and Youthreach. Her experience is in the areas of corporate partnerships, fundraising, project design, development, and management. She an M.Sc. Degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Mukta is an architect and urban planner working towards the development and implementation of inclusive and affordable housing solutions and policies for cities. Mukta is also a writer and blogger interested in urbanism, travel, culture, community and social development. She has done her B. Arch. and M. Plan. from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
Prerit has been working in the development sector for last six years after completing his post graduation from IRMA. Before that he had worked in the corporate sector for around four years as an Engineer. Prerit brings to Agrasar his indepth experiences from the field and a process-oriented aptitude. He has also been selected as the Acumen Fellow in the 2014 batch.
Chetan is a long-serving participant in the education and social development sector. He has worked with organizations like Pratham and American India Foundation. His motivation and commitment to help improve the lives of individuals and institutions through education led him to found Edulever in August 2009 and co-found Agrasar in December 2010.
