Building Awareness. Strengthening Communities

Agrasar believes that lasting change begins by working alongside communities to build awareness, resilience, and agency. Awareness is the foundation of strong communities enabling individuals to understand their rights, strengthen collective voice, and claim their rightful place in society. Through carefully designed events and community-led activities, Agrasar engages children and families to translate awareness into action and advance our programme goals across education, migration, and women’s empowerment. 

 

Alongside community engagement, Agrasar invests in building team capacity and internal collaboration ensuring our people are aligned, skilled, and equipped to deliver sustainable impact.

Jan Jankari | Awareness & Access

Awareness that converts into action.

 

Jan Jankari focuses on making rights, services, and entitlements visible and usable for migrant communities. Through direct outreach and mass communication, we simplify information, build trust, and enable first access to systems that are often out of reach.

Ghar-Ghar Agrasar | Services at the Doorstep

Access without barriers.

 

Ghar Ghar Agrasar takes essential services directly to communities with limited mobility or infrastructure. By meeting people where they live and work, we reduce access costs, increase uptake, and ensure no one is excluded due to distance or documentation gaps.

Saksham Samuday | Empowerment & Capacity Building of collectives and agrasar sathi

From participation to leadership.

 

Agrasar invests continuously in strengthening the capacities of community leaders, Agrasar Sathis, and collective members. Through structured training and expert-led sessions, skill and knowledge gaps are identified and addressed over the course of programme implementation to ensure effective, accountable, and community-led delivery.

Samudayik Sammelan | Collective Voice & Trust Building

Spaces for dialogue, visibility, and belonging.

 

Samudayik Sammelan creates high-trust, high-engagement community platforms. These forums bring people together to learn, ask questions, celebrate, and build long-term relationships that go beyond service delivery.

Kagaz Ki Kashti | Child, Caregiver & Teacher Development

Nurturing resilience in the early years.

 

Kagaz Ki Kashti focuses on the emotional, social, and relational foundations of childhood. By working across children, parents, and teachers, the programme strengthens everyday environments where children grow, learn, and navigate uncertainty—ensuring care systems are responsive, consistent, and enabling.
